Transportation to Welcome Party
A shuttle service to take everyone to the welcome party will leave from 7:15pm - 8:15pm, so feel free to arrive anytime during that time frame. You may have to wait for the shuttles to return to take you up to the party.
The address to get the shuttle is at the intersection where there is a statue of a cross. It is the intersection between Rue des Micocouliers and the Anc. Route de Dauphin. Please use the following address if using google maps:
2 Rue des Micocouliers, 04300 Forcalquier
This is what the statue at the intersection looks like and an image of the map location. It is a 5 min walk from the main square. Please wait near the cross statue to be taken to the party. The shuttles will take people down from the party as well.
Transportation at The Wedding
Transportation will be provided from the ceremony to the reception. We will also have a taxi service after the reception that can take you back to Forcalquier and surrounding towns. (please make sure you have the address where you are staying so the drivers are able to drop you off in the correct location). If you would like to drive to the reception, you can park in the designated parking space.
Is there a Gift registry?
Your presence at our wedding means the world to us, and is truly the greatest gift we could ask for.
If you would like to honor us with a gift, we would be so grateful for a contribution toward our future together. You can find our PayPal and Venmo details on this page.
If you'd prefer to give a gift in person or if those options aren't convenient, someone will be designated at the wedding to safely collect any cards or gifts.
What time should I arrive and where for the wedding?
Please arrive at the church at the latest by 2pm on 11 July 2025. The church is located at 10 Pl. du Bourguet, 04300 Forcalquier, France. (Map view). Doors will be closed so please make sure to arrive on time to attend the ceremony.
Is there a dress code?
It will likely be very hot. Luckily, it is a dry heat. The dress code for the wedding day is semi-formal. We recommended something that is comfortable and breathable- such as linen suits, shirts, breathable dresses and jumpsuits, and sun dresses that are knee length or longer. As the ceremony is taking place in a church, we kindly ask you to be respectful with your outfit choices. As it tends to get a bit colder in the night time, please bring a light jacket or shawl if you usually get cold.
For the welcome party and day after event, this is more casual. Please note that at every event, we will be on stone, cobblestones, and grass. Please do not wear stilettos if you plan to wear heels, and opt for a more chunky heel as the grass area could ruin these and make it very difficult to walk around.
Smoking and Fire Warnings
Smoking is allowed at all of our events, but we kindly ask that you do so only in the designated smoking areas and always use an ashtray. Please do not smoke in fields as this can cause forest fires. The South of France has a very dry climate with a high fire risk, so your cooperation is essential to keep everyone safe.
Please also be aware that a new law in France, effective from July 1st, prohibits smoking in public spaces like parks, beaches, and even on the street. Police are now issuing fines for violations—much to the dismay of the French! That said, you can still enjoy a smoke at restaurants and bars as usual. Thanks for understanding and helping us keep the celebration safe and stress-free.
Please also note, in France you can ONLY buy cigarettes in designated stores that will have a sign that reads TABAC.

Parking in Forcalquier
On Mondays, there is a large market. The market is located in the center of town and you are not able to park here until the market closes after lunch time. This is only on Mondays. You will not be able to park in the main square or the main parking lot during the market. The red lines mark the areas you are not able to park. There is ample parking around the town.
It is possible to park in the main parking lot (except during the market). Any spaces with blue lines in the parking lot are reserved for 1 hour parking. To park here, you will need to buy a disc which looks like the image below from the tabac in town for a couple of euros. You just need to set it to the time that you arrived and display this in your car. For all other spaces that aren’t marked with blue lines, you do not need a disc and there is not a 1 hour time limit. There is also ample parking around town.
